Friday Favorites!
It’s hard to believe we are almost out of October Fridays! We’ve had some beautiful Fall days recently and can’t wait for more!
Our weeks have been PACKED! So I’ve got lots of favorites today! I hope they make you smile too:)
I found this super cute surprise selfie in my camera roll. LOVE!
We tried a new hairstyle this week and I just can’t believe how much hair this sweet chick has!
This is what we had to work with a year ago:)
Guess who’s NINE MONTHS OLD!!
Logan Girl!! My girl is saying Mama and Dada and claps when we are excited about it:) She’s pulling up on everything and already such a climber. Honestly, she scares me a little;) She is BUSY! and so fun!
We had her Dedication recently at church and it was a super sweet day!
We got to share the day with Declan, our cousin Clancy and two other sweet babies from church!
After a sweet dedication service, we all had our families over for lunch.
Gumbo! and that was so fun too!
I love when Fall wildflowers can make for pretty table decorations:)
The girl of the hour featuring her new cute snort face:)
This sweet chick has been making her own sourdough loaf to share each week when I make mine. She gets SO excited to see it rise and when it’s time to back, she can hardly stand all the fun;) Except she thinks the oven in her kitchen bakes it….. I have to let her put it in, then move it to my oven sneakily and then move it back on a hot pad! haha
Yellow flower pictures deserve a post all their own.. but for now, I had to share a few!
Look at these sweet cousins!
They love each other so much!
My big girl!
They’re a mess together!
The Farmers Market! I am so proud of our town. Around 70 vendors showed up with products, handmade or grown, to sell. We have such a huge variety of things and it was a great day to get out and enjoy our community!
If you would like to see a little clip of the market and all it’s sweet community feels, check it out here!
Sweet Deck picking a pumpkin from the patch:)
Enjoying our Stella Lu’s Bake shop cookies and taking a little break:)
Nichols in DeQuincy was so amazing. Mrs. Tricia not only offered to help, she named three ways right off the bat of how she could do so. She promoted with her billboards in surrounding cities, she started carrying our t-shirts and she used things from her store to set up the most beautiful backdrop for our photo booth!
The DeQuincy Farmers Market motto is “Locally Growing Together” and she went above and beyond to help us in that effort!
The video above was made by Mr. Shawn Cooper of Cooper Hill Farms. He provided our pumpkin patch for the market. Check out his Youtube Channel here! My students LOVE his channel! We are planning a field trip to his farm because they love seeing all he does there. So, if you’re a teacher and want to add some life to your social living block, check it out!
I joke that the market is made on my couch and between mine and Lexie’s text conversations.. but the real deal market couldn’t run without Philip Menou:) He’s our heavy-lifter and makes it happen!
Even while we were eating our lunch at the park, he had a very structured and secure “merry go round” game going on:) If I had a dime for every time he said “Where’s your mommy or daddy? Go see them!" in that 10 minutes… hahahah
The one sweet picture I have with Logan, who joined the party after her morning nap:)
Already thinking of all the fun things I get to recap next week! This is such a fun time of year:) But for now, babies are waking! Hope everyone has a great Friday!
Seasonally yours,
Kelly
