Friday Favorites!
The first week of May and already we’ve had thunderstorms and beautiful Spring days that feel like summer’s coming! May..nine months since hurricane Laura took our three garage doors and this was the week we got our new ones hung. AHHH a favorite.
We started the week with Daddy’s birthday! I don’t have pictures of him from that day…never considering even on his birthday, he’s running around sweaty getting things ready for his own celebration:)

A couple of months ago, I was learning a new design program and offered to do a logo for a local farmer/friend.
She shared the logo and branded her products and another local farmer/friend reached out for me to create hers.
She shared it to her farm page and next thing I knew, eight more Nigerian goat farmers were contacting me to make theirs! It has been so fun. Apparently the Goat farmers of America are a pretty tight group..I kinda wanna be one now;)

Big favorite here! Lila and Landry have been learning the same verse and this week, Lila (well, Mel) sent a video of her saying it! Landry watched it so many times—because we wear out all Lila videos—that she got it memorized too:) On to the next, girls!
Kid’s Scripture Cards with motions for 66 verses, one for every book of the Bible:)
We spent a morning at the nursery and I think each visit gets better and better. We picked out more trees and some pretty flowers:) We told Landry to pick ONE and she could bring it home and plant it and water it herself. Well after plucking one single flower off of a plant and handing it to me, we got a little more specific. haha!
The winner! When we got home, the girls went down for naps and Philip got busy planting seeds to start on his new potting bench. We are so excited for the Market at Landry Lane this year:)
Made a copycat of Olive Garden’s Chicken and Gnocchi Soup and I was really impressed with it! Especially how easy it was. Had the Olive Garden-ish salad too. Next time I’m refrigerating the bowls and making peach tea for the full experience;)
It’s the time of year that supper doesn’t mean the day is over. We get outside and play until the sun goes down and it’s so silly and so FUN! Cartwheels and all;) Speaking of cartwheels, Landry is learning so very much every day. I can’t keep up. Today she was asking me to turn on her songs while she ate breakfast and I got sidetracked and finally she said “Mommy, check innet?” I didn’t understand and told her to show me, she walked over to our internet box and said “check INNET!” hahaha I was being too slow and she thought the “innet” was too. Funny girl.
I hope you have had the best week too! I can’t wait to celebrate our Mommas this weekend and spend time with the girls that made me a momma:)
