So I’d officially call this past week the first week of SUMMER! and it was a good one:) The sunscreen is out, the rosey cheeks are shining and a meal can’t be eaten without a cut cucumber and tomato!
Momma always knows how to start summer the right way..with a SUMMER BUCKET! She started these years ago and would have it out and ready on our last day of school:) and since she raised two teachers, we will have a “last day before summer” for the next 20ish years. But momma, you really can stop anytime;)
This year’s was snow cone themed:)
We had an opportunity this week come and go, but in the process of planning, praying, exploring options and dreaming…it made me even more excited for everything to come. I took this picture thinking I’d caption it “Anywhere with you”, but through trees and briars and boot blisters, I got back to the truck and was thinking “Anywhere but there with you” hahaha. Really though, I’m so glad I get to dream with him forever.
Some logos I finished up this week! They’ve been so fun to work on. In college, I loved writing essays. I’d get so excited to open a new, clean document, title it, make an outline and then fill it in and have it become a full paper right in front of me in no time. I' get the same feeling when I open a new Artboard for a company’s logo. Except this is way more fun!
This sweet girl turned FIVE months old on the 7th! Gosh she is just joy. She’s our “Happy Go Logan”.
….and also a busy girl;)
The banner has been ordered. The photo booth wall has been built. Things are coming together for DeQuincy’s first continual farmers market!
My “non-framers” of the week. They need a spot, just not on my wall;)
Lots of porch time, lots of tummy time, lots of sunshine!
And I hope this next week has more of all! Let me know your perfect summer day in the comments!
Seasonally yours,
Kelly
